ABOUT NO CONTROL A CAPPELLA
Who They Are
No Control is an auditioned all male a Cappella group based out of North Central College in Naperville Illinois. Since their founding, the group has been all about fun, unity, and the love of music. No Control strives to be a group where men who enjoy all different kinds of activities can come together and enjoy singing a cappella music in a laid back environment, while still fully enjoying everything else they have going on.
COVID-19 PROJECT
Like many other a cappella groups around the world, we decided to record a video remotely. We chose Lean on Me by Bill Withers, this is a song Cody arranged last summer that we decided to do this year. We decided this song would be what we recorded remotely due to the current situation of the world and to pass along the message that we all have bumps in the road, and it’s always okay to need help. Enjoy!
COME GO WITH ME
The Legacy
Way back in the ancient year of 2015, No Control started out rehearsals by learning their first song ever: "Come Go With Me" and lo and behold, the song stuck. Since then, "Come Go With Me" has become not only our legacy song, but also one of our favorites and is learned and performed every year.
